News

Here are the ROSTER GUIDELINES this year.

As with all DiscNW events now, all players regardless of age are covered by our insurance certificate for accidents or injuries at our events. In order to facilitate this though each team must make a roster for each event. When you register your team bid, this will be your location for roster additions and subtractions. If you are a normal league team you can import any/all of your league roster into the event roster. Each team must have their roster filled in by the end of May 1st and all the players on that team must have signed their waiver or the team will forfeit it's spot in the tournament and receive no refund. Please read the Roster & Waiver Guidelines tab if you don't know how to set a roster or sign the waiver. If you have any questions, please email our Accounts Manager, Kate Speck at accounts.manager@discnw.org.

About Gnines

As with past years, the Gnines format allows only gnine players per roster, 5/4 men/women. On field ratio is 4:3; any team may opt for 3:4, but the opponent doesn’t need to match.

Ideally we have 16 teams sign up, but if we don't reach that then please understand that the format may be a little off in order to get the requisite gnine games for each team and rematches may be un-avoidable.

Bids are $141.05/team

Games will start around 9am and conclude around 5-6pm. More information as we get nearer the date.

Rules

The 11th Edition of the Rules of Ultimate will be used for this tournament.

Tournament Specific Rules

  • All games are played to 9, win by 1.  Point cap at 9.  Hard time cap is 50 minutes after the start of the round - the game is over after the current point is finished (unless tied, then play one more).
  • Gender ratio is 4:3 men:women.
  • Foot-blocks: yes
  • 1 timeout per half; mirror half. Timeouts are allowed during a game cap.
  • This is an adult league in accordance with the DiscNW Team League Participation Policy
