This league is open to middle school-based teams (grades 6-8), public or private. Games are on Saturdays on fields throughout the greater Seattle region.

Divisions of Play

A team may select any one of the divisions below:

6-9 regular season & 1-3 post-season coed games 4:3 gender ratio (offense calls girls:boys or boys:girls). 
Girls A & B Pools 6-9 regular season & 1-3 post-season girls' games Girls only.
Schools with a coed student body must also provide a team for boys (either a coed or boys' team).*
Boys A & B Pools 6-9 regular season & 1-3 post-season boys' games Boys only.
Schools with a coed student body must also provide an option for girls (either a coed or girls' team).*
Combined (Coed, Girls, & Boys) Coed Games:
A, B, C, & 6th Grade Pools
Girls'/Boys' Games:
A & B Pools
2-3 coed, 2-3 boys', & 2-3 girls' regular season games. 1-3 post-season games in either coed or girls/boys.
In this division only, a team may pull up players from its school's lower pool teams in order to supplement its roster for its girls' and boys' games.

*Teams who wish to play in the girls' or boys' division but cannot form a full team of the specified gender may, per the DiscNW Eligibility Rules, apply to form a consortium team with another school. However, note that approved consortium status applies to all teams from the school, regardless of the gender division for which they are registered.

 February 17   Schedule posted for weeks 1-3 of play.

 Mandatory Coaches' Meeting.

 Online rosters, waivers, and coaching code of conduct (CCC) due. Start early!  Click here for instructions.

  • Roster must include at least 10 players (5 boys and 5 girls for coed) whose waivers are signed.
  • Players may be added later, but they should not play until they are added to the online roster and their waivers are signed.
  • Each team must submit a signed CCC for at least one coach who is 19 years of age or older.
 March 15   First games.
 March 29  11:59pm, all spirit and game scores should be reported to facilitate reseeding and scheduling of weeks 4-8 of play.
 April 1 or earlier  Schedule posted for weeks 4-8 of play.
 May 4  All spirit and game scores should be reported. Teams with missing scores will not participate in post-season play.
 May 7 or Earlier   Post-season schedule announced.
 May 10 & 17   Post-season play.

Fees, Discounts and Financial Aid

League fees are $325 per team. Teams should pay their league fees at the time of registration. Teams that have not paid by the February 9 deadline will not be included in the league schedule.

Financial aid is available, and applications are due February 6.

There are also several multi-team discounts which are applied to the base league fee. Total team count includes teams that are participating in the DiscNW spring elementary and high school leagues:

  • 10% off for schools with 3 teams.
  • 15% off for schools with 4 or more teams.

Due to website limitations, discounts are not applied to online payments. To receive the discount, please mail a check for payment to DiscNW at PO Box 85112, Seattle, WA 98145.

Registration and Paperwork

New this year: all league paperwork is online!

  • Coaches will need to submit an online roster, and every parent and player will need to sign an online waiver.
  • Please start your rostering immediately to minimize last-minute technical problems for yourself and your team parents! Changes can always be made later.

Opening day for the boating season in Seattle is Saturday! Expect drawbridges to be up & traffic to be crazy. Please leave extra travel time all weekend.


Field Monitors Sought

DiscNW is seeking field monitors for this event.  If you are interested in serving in this positions, please contact

Field Monitors are responsible for setting up cones at playfields, monitoring teams and spectators for safety, canceling games for poor field conditions, resolving conflicts with other field users, resolving disputes between coaches, offering rules clarifications, keeping time for games, implementing evacuation plans as needed, enforcing DiscNW and park policies, cleaning up after games, dealing with other miscellaneous logistics onsite, and communicating issues with League Coordinator and DiscNW staff.  Monitors work 4-12 hours on Saturdays from March 15 through May 17 and may be responsible for several leagues' games.  There is a volunteer stipend associated with this position.
