Event End

This league has both Girls and Boys (Open) divisions. There are several different divisions based on experience. It is open to any high school team in the area regardless of whether they have varsity, school club, or no official status at their school.

Please get your team registered with the UPA score reporter and get your players a UPA membership. IF a player will absolutely not play in states or tryout for YCC, he or she can signup for the one time $5 player fee with the UPA. Otherwise I highly encourage all players to get teh full membership for the year at the $20 rate. Email me with roster questions.

Seattle Ultimate Camps offer sessions for players ages 10-13 and 14-18 between June 23 and August 22. Visit the camp FAQ page for answers to commonly asked questions.
The Tacoma Ultimate Camp runs from July 29 - August 2. There are sessions for day campers and for overnight campers.
Camp Orkila on Orcas Island is once again offering Freedom Sports Camp with an ultimate program. For more information download this camp flyer (1.6M .pdf file).

The league is going to be organized more like other high school sports. DiscNW will not be providing fields for all the games and the scheduling will be done by each school/team with a little help from a scheduling template. There will be a organizational meeting after sign-ups close March 7th. Due to field restraints some games may be on weekends this year while many will hopefully still be on weeknights. Teams that don’t rent/own their own game fields can rent fields through DiscNW though it would probably be more effective to reserve them through each school’s athletic department.

This league will use the UPA 11th Edition Rules.

The league will also require that every team has an adult (over 21) chaperone (preferably coaches) for each team at every game. For organizing purposes the league will require that an adult represents each school/team. Adults will be required to take care of all the external organizing.

Rosters and Eligibility:

The single gender league will be using the recently approved DiscNW Eligibility Rules.

Teams and players who wish to apply for exceptions to these rules must apply to the DiscNW Eligibility Committee () prior to the start of the season.
