Spring Adult Team League (2014)

Event Type
Team League
Event Start
Event End

Spring team league provides a venue for adult coed teams at all levels to play in a competitive league. The league is divided into pools based on ability, so whether you are one of the best teams in town, or a group of relative newcomers, you can expect close games at your level. At the end of the season, all teams participate in league playoffs.

UPDATE: very important parking information for Sunday.

From 10am-1pm on Sunday, June 1 there will be an event in the main parking lot at Magnuson Park.  During this time, the main parking lot will be closed.  There will be some parking options at the park.  I have updated the Magnuson map to reflect available parking:  http://tinyurl.com/q6wf3o8

  • The small lot directly in front of the new tennis center will be open.  Players arriving early enough may be able to get a spot there on Sunday.
  • The Kite Hill lot to the east will be open, and walking paths lead to the fields.
  • The E4 lot near the baseball fields along NE 65th St is also open.  A path leads to the fields, and there will be a shuttle on Sunday as well.
  • The Arena Sports lot to the far north will also be open to the public on Sunday.

We encourage players to leave extra time for transportation.  Carpooling, public transportation, and biking to the park are also recommended.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.  We are communicating with officials at Seattle Parks about ways to better utilize the resources at Magnuson Park without overloading the Park's capacity.

  • Notify your opponents at least 4 days in advance if you are unable to field a team for a game.  Forfeits should be recorded 1-0.
  • Even if you are able to make an easy change and don’t need to contact us for fields, etc., let us know of the change regardless.  Your unused field can be of use to someone else.

The team fee this year is $897.90 (includes sales tax).   The team fee must be paid in full by the close of registration.  Teams that have not paid will not get a schedule.

Payment may be made online or by mailing a check to DiscNW, Attn: Spring League, PO Box 85112, Seattle, WA 98145.  Please note the team name on the memo line of the check.

Please note: We will do our best to accommodate all schedule requests. However, please limit your weekend off request to a max of 2. Any more than that and we may not be able to schedule you for a full slate of games (we're aiming to get at least 10 regular season games per team again in 2014).

If you are a free agent looking for a team, please check out this helpful forum post for information.

Most games will be played on the synthetic fields at Magnuson Park with ultimate lines.  Many other games be played on synthetic fields in Seattle including Jefferson (synth with ultimate field lines!), Delridge (ultimate lines and markings!), and others.  Download the spring Seattle permit here.

DiscNW Hotline

On game days, please call the DiscNW hotline at 206-504-3472 for updates on field conditions and games. We'll try to update it as early and as often as necessary.

This year we will also be broadcasting game day updates via Twitter.  Please note that Twitter use is not intended to replace the DiscNW hotline. In fact, the hotline will continue to be the definitive place to receive information. We will make every attempt to tweet messages that are made on the hotline, but this may not always be possible.
