Spring team league provides a venue for adult coed teams at all levels to play in a competitive league. The league is divided into pools based on ability, so whether you are one of the best teams in town, or a group of relative newcomers, you can expect close games at your level. At the end of the season, all teams participate in league playoffs with bragging rights for the year at stake.

The 2010 Spring League Playoffs Schedule is now posted.

Come join us at our Annual Meeting!

Sunday, June 6 at Magnuson Park from 5-8:30pm. We will meet in the View Ridge Room of the Brig following the Spring League finals.

There will be refreshments (including pizza!), door prizes, and good times.

We will say 'thank you' to hard working DiscNW volunteers and will present a brief report on the state of the organization.

As a reminder, we are only able to guarantee (2) bye requests.  You can request more, but we can not guarantee that requests will be honored.  Please prioritize your requests.  Here are some tournament and important dates, that might help with your requests:

April 3-4             Onionfest, Easter, Passover

April 17-18      WA/BC College Sectionals

April 24-25         Spring Reign

Your 2010 Spring League Coordinators are Nate Merrill, Christina Witteman and William Bartram.  Look for us (and say hi!) out on the fields.  In the meantime, you can contact us at .

No Dogs

Note to athletic field users, friends, and families: Dogs are not allowed at organized athletic fields, beaches, or children's play areas in Seattle, Shoreline, and Redmond parks. They are welcome on leash everywhere else in the park system, and there are other off-leash areas where they can romp without leashes.  Please leave your pets at home on game days!

No Alcohol

Note to athletic field users, friends, and families: Alcohol is not allowed at organized athletic fields, beaches, or children's play areas in Seattle, Shoreline, and Redmond parks.

In 2008 we received at least one warning per season regarding dogs and beer on the fields from parks officials.  If further infractions occur we risk losing access to the fields.  We did better in 2009, but still... Please refrain from bringing dogs and alcohol to games.  Thanks!

Online registration is now closed.

The team fee this year is $750.   The team fee must be paid in full by the close of registration.  Teams that have not paid will not get a schedule.

Please note: We will do our best to accommodate all schedule requests. However, please limit your weekend off request to a max of 2. Any more than that and we may not be able to schedule you for a full slate of games (we're aiming to get at least 10 regular season games per team again in 2010).

DiscNW Hotline

Please call the DiscNW hotline at 206-781-5840 for updates on field conditions and games. We'll try to update it as early and as often as necessary.

This year we will also be broadcasting game day updates via Twitter.  Please note that Twitter use is not intended to replace the DiscNW hotline. In fact, the hotline will continue to be the definitive place to receive information. We will make every attempt to tweet messages that are made on the hotline, but this may not always be possible.

  • Time cap: @ 20 minutes left in game, add 2 to the highest score and play out.  Win by 1.  @ 10 minutes left in game, finish the point.  Game is over unless it is tied (1 more point is played to determine the winner if tied).
  • Gender ratio is 4:3 men:women. If you don't have 3 women you'll have to play down.  A pool can be 4:3 or 3:4 due to the large number of women on these rosters.
