DiscNW limits the teams that compete in bracket play in order to A) notify teams as early as possible of their game times and locations, B) simplify seeding and formats, and C) address growing field space concerns. Visit the Playoff Schedule page for this year's schedules - final matchups will be set at the conclusion of the regular season.
Teams must be available to play both weekends of the playoffs to be eligible for playoffs. We will make an effort to schedule consolation games for the teams that are only available one of the two weekends but post-season play is not guaranteed.
Seeding will be based on win percentage. Ties will be determined by head-to-head play. If no head-to-head game exists higher spirit score will take the higher seed.
A standard 4 team bracket and pairings will be used.
All playoff teams will receive two scheduled games (the semi-final losers will play a 3rd place game).
For those teams not in the top 4 of the pool, we do our best to ensure they will receive at least one consolation game – more if field space allows, but this is not guaranteed.
