  1. The July Board Minutes were ratified by unanimous vote.
  2. Executive Director report:
(A). Leagues: 3 Summer leagues ended with champs DFS (corp), The Chair (hat) and D'Oh (team). Men's summer hat league turnout has been poor. Women's fall hat league sign-ups are under way with 49 in plus Moxie, a club team. HS hat league has 21 sign-ups with more expected once school starts. 22 teams are interested in fall league and we will expand from last year's 16 teams, field space permitting. Fall hat league has 57 women and 193 men so far against limits of 168 and 216. Vern's league survey is open with results to follow.
(B). Tournaments: Potlatch survey is open with results to follow. Ryan needs help to untangle the port-a-fields from Potlatch. Sluttin' Up had low turnout and will lose money. Mid-June, after spring league, will be a better time for next year.
(C). Fields Advocacy: we hope to start a SP/Mag letter writing campaign this week.
    (D) Showcase games: Sockeye and Riot are to scrimmage Japan's National teams on Tuesday, August 26 in Bothell and Fort Dent, respectively.
  3. Privacy Policy: a revised privacy policy was approved unanimously to reflect our use of a different on-line payment vendor.
  4. Board Member Recruitment: Extensive discussion led by committee of its search for new board members. It's recommendations were approved unanimously.
  5. New Board Member orientation: Discussion of how best to bring new board members up to speed.
