UW Element Youth Clothing Drive
(January 2010)

The University of Washington Women's Ultimate team, Element, is organizing a service project this year to start Ultimate programs in low income communities and schools. They are working with kids in grades 3-5. Their goal is to not only provide a safe, positive environment for the kids, but also to teach life skills through Ultimate, such as problem solving, conflict resolution, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Because these are low income families, many of them will not have proper footwear or clothing for sports. If you have any old sports wear in decent condition that you would like to donate to the cause, Element would greatly appreciate it. Here is a list of items they are looking for:

Items can be dropped at 3910 Latona Ave NE. A bin will be placed in the mail room, up the stairs at the front of the building. For questions, contact captain Shannon O'Malley at . Thanks for donating!
