Masters teams for fall series?

I got a message recently from Mike O'Dowd, the UPA Masters Regional Coordinator. He's trying to get the word out to all the Seattle masters players regarding the regionals tournament in Burlington, Washington on October 7th and 8th.  He's hoping for 6-8 teams. Any questions about the tourney should be directed to him (mod7 a@t prodigy.net]. Any thoughts about getting Seattle/Tacoma masters teams together could happen here I guess.

Could treat this like a one-day hat tourney for Men's masters.  Obvioulsy a couple of the teams would be the regular teams like KWA, but others could be formed in a hat format.

I would do that, if it was just one day.

I think that he means that players can pickup with each other to play together at Regionals.  So, creating a team of hat league players that want to play together in the fall can hat-together to form a new team.

It is small wonder why masters get no respect...
