Seattle HS Ultimate Future???

This is how I would lay out HS ultimate in Seattle.

Fall:
Seattle Public HS League - Single gender; Suburbs Big Public League (Edmonds to Eastside - Based in north Kirkland?)

Moho Fall Training League (UPA sponsored as qualifier for YCC tryout eligibility) Players can signup without a UPA membership but they won't be eligible to play YCC. Coaches would be paid.

Winter: Moho Winter Training League (Same as fall but new sessions) Players can signup without a UPA membership but they won't be eligible to play YCC.

Spring:
HS Coed League (Sundays at Magnuson);

HS Single Gender League (weekdays mostly);

HS States Single Gender (not UPA in 2010) Single Elimination 8 team single elimination bracket with qualifying from league play. Tournament would the weeknights before Memorial Day weekend. Monday night quarters, Wednesday night semis, Friday night showcase finals.

HS Westerns Single Gender (not UPA in 2010) - Every league team is invited from Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, and even the midwest teams though I think there will be a separate Midwest championship by then. This would happen on Memorial Day weekend or the weekend after. If on Memorial Day weekend then state would move up a week or at least be done by Wednesday before Memorial Day weekend.

Roger mentioned the idea of an early season invite similar to the AI, PC, or Hopkins Hustle. I like this idea and think it could be worked with the doing an every other year thing between Minnesota and Seattle.

Summer:
YCC UPA (Seattle puts in a bid to host YCC midweek over three or four days instead of two - try to host it in the Seattle proper)

Moho Summer Training League (UPA sponsored as qualifier for YCC tryout eligibility) Players can signup without a UPA membership but they won't be eligible to play YCC.

All the MOHO training leagues could have multiple sessions and different locations. (Edmonds, Eastside, South Seattle, North Seattle, etc)

Thanks - Mike
