Make a Difference in the Life of a Foster Child

If you've got 2 to 8 hours a month to spare, a passion for educational equity, and a sincere desire to help young people succeed - please consider volunteering at Treehouse (www.treehouseforkids.org) in the Coaching-to-College program.

Coaching-to-College takes foster youth 14 to 22 years old and matches them with an adult volunteer coach. Coaches help students with HS/GED completion, college selection/research, applications, essays, financial aid, and anything else in the post-secondary process.

Furthermore our coaches work with students throughout their college career to ensure completion. (only 3% of foster youth receive a Bachelor's degree)

We do ask for at least a one year commitment b/c our kids already deal with too much instability in their lives.

For more information please email me your name and address and we will send you a volunteer packet with orientation dates.
