All teams must also send a captain to the Captains Meeting at 8:30am each day.

Held every July in Redmond, Washington, Potlatch is one of the largest co-ed ultimate tournaments in the world. Now in its 25th year, the event draws teams from across North America (and a few from even farther away) with its potent blend of sun, fun, and ultimate. The tournament always showcases ultimate's unique spirit and some of the sport's most amazing athletes.

UPDATE: Camping Locations
Please take note of the updated camping map as many things have changed since last year:
As usual, camping is allowed around the perimeter of the fields with a few exceptions. All tents must be placed within 15 feet of the fence line that surrounds the park. Along the south side, camping is only allowed in the west corner near Field 8. On the north side, camping is not allowed in the east corner near Fields 29 & 30.
This year, camping is permitted on the hill just east of the fields. Any grassy area on the slope is open for camping. Please avoid the woody areas.
Please do not set up your tents on any area inside of a field line. That includes any painted soccer lines as well as any port-a-field ultimate lines or other barriers. Please do not set up your tents in any area labeled as off limits on the camping map.
Registration, Rosters, and Payments
Thank you all for updating your rosters and submitting your final payments. We know that some of you are still finishing your final rosters over these last few days. Please make sure that your online roster is complete before the start of the tournament. At registration, we will be using the online roster as our guide. If your team is adding players, additional fees may be due. We will be able to settle accounts at registration at the fields. Some of you may also have a refund due if players dropped from the roster. We will also deal with refunds at registration. Starting at 7:30am Friday morning, there will be two lines at registration: Lane 1 - This lane is for any team that still has to pay player fees. Express Lane - If your team is fully paid up or if your team has a refund due, use the Express Lane! Players can be added to rosters throughout the weekend, but you must notify us at Frisbee Central to update your roster and pay the additional per-player fee if applicable. Only registered players can play and have access to Potlatch services. There will be random roster checks on each day. If your team is caught fielding an un-registered player, your team will be asked to forfeit that game.
The Daily Captain’s Meeting will be at 8:30am at Frisbee Central. Please be on time so we can start the first round on schedule. A plethora of information and answers to many of your questions can be found on the Potlatch website.On Friday, turn in your scores at the end of the day to get pizzas for the team dinner. On Saturday, turn in your scores to receive Potlatch 2014 wristbands for the party at Redhook. Only attendees with Potlatch 2014 wristbands will be granted access to the party at Redhook.
When you accepted your Potlatch 2014 bid, you agreed to the note below. Because of its importance, I am restating it here:
By accepting your bid to Potlatch 2014, as a Captain, you are also taking responsibility for your team’s actions. Potlatch is a great experience that we want to keep going for many years to come. Unfortunately, the unscrupulous actions by any one person could easily end Potlatch forever. Potlatch is a time to enjoy all that is great about Ultimate and camaraderie, but rules cannot be broken and respect for our vendors, facility hosts, and each other must be present at all times. If a member of your team goes against Potlatch policy in any way, the whole team will be held responsible and face immediate ejection from the tournament. Trust me, I don’t want to ever have to remove a team from the tourney, but I will do so without hesitation in order to save Potlatch for the greater community. As a Captain, we expect you to communicate this message to your team, and partner with me to keep Potlatch great. If you have any questions about this issue, please let us know.
Youth Player Eligibility Potlatch is an 18+ event in accordance with the DiscNW Team Event Participation Policy (http://www.discnw.org/about/TeamLeagueParticipationPolicy.html).
Gifts – Please keep up the Potlatch tradition of exchanging gifts with the teams you play. Teams will get 3 games on Friday and Saturday, and 2 to 4 games on Sunday.
- Host venues – Treat our hosts with the utmost respect, or else we will not be welcome back!
- Broken glass can cause injuries and can present a very dangerous environment for other park participants that use the fields after us. So, NO GLASS will be allowed at 60 acres park. If your team is seen with glass containers of any kind, you will be asked to immediately dispose of it in a recycling receptacle or dispose of it properly offsite (put it in your car).
- 60 acres park is a public area where nudity is not permitted.
- The shower facilities are for showering only. Go in, get clean, get out. There will be plenty of time later and in more appropriate locations to quench your thirst. There will be bag checks as you enter the shower facility to ensure their No Alcohol policy is followed. Please bring your own towels.
- Camping – camping is allowed from Thursday night (5pm) through Monday morning (10am). Check out this link to view approved camping areasas many things have changed since last year. Unfortunately, several campers had items stolen from their tents last year. Please take precautions.

- No Alcohol – f any Tournament Director, Staff Member, or Security Personnel asks a Potlatch participant to adhere to the No Alcohol policy because of a lack of discretion, that person must comply immediately. Any acts of non-compliance will result in that person and their team being directed to leave the tournament immediately. Don’t forget – NO GLASS!
- No fireworks, No flames – No exceptions! If anyone is caught lighting a flame to anything, they (and their team) will be asked to leave Potlatch immediately
- We will be carding at the party. Bring your IDs! The party at Redhook will be in front of the brewery this year in the Grassy Bowl. Feel free to bring blankets or lawn chairs to use on the grass. You will not be allowed to bring in liquids of any kind.
- No dogs – Seriously, no dogs. We can’t have them on the fields.
- Carpooling – Gas is expensive, and with so many teams, parking will be limited. Please carpool as much as possible.

* A limited number of bids will be reserved for teams traveling from outside of North America. Please note the following refund policy for teams that drop after May 30.
- 6/1 to 6/16 - Teams that drop during this window forfeit $300 of their registration fee
- 6/17 to 6/23 - Teams that drop during this window forfeit $600 of their registration fee
- 6/24 or later - No refund
This policy may be adjusted (at the TDs' discretion) for teams who are let into the tournament after the normal dates due to being originally waitlisted (and other extenuating circumstances).

- Soft Time Cap: finish the point and add 2 to the highest score. Game ends when first team reaches new game total, or when first team reaches 15 ahead by at least two points, whichever comes first. Horn is blown 35 minutes before the start of the next round.
- Hard Time Cap: finish the point. If the game is not tied, it is over. If the game is tied, play one tiebreaker point. Horn is blown 25 minutes before the start of the next round.
- 2 Time-outs per half, time-outs are 90 seconds
- Playing by 11th Edition Rules
- 4:3/3:4, offense chooses
