Winter Team League

January through March, Saturdays

Winter league offers a chance for established teams to get together and scrimmage during the colder months. The league provides an opportunity for teams to keep exercising in winter and to tune-up their games for spring.

Spring Team League

March through June, Sundays

Spring team league provides a venue for coed teams at all levels to play in a competitive league. The league is divided into pools based on ability, so whether you are one of the best teams in town, or a group of relative newcomers, you can expect close games at your level. At the end of the season, all teams participate in league playoffs with bragging rights for the year at stake.

Middle School Spring League

March through May, Saturdays

This coed league is open to any middle school team (grades 6-8) in the area. Typically the league is split into skill and age based divisions. This is the longest running and largest middle school league in the country.

High School Spring Coed League

March through May, Saturdays

This league is for coed (4b/3g ratio) high school teams. There are several different divisions based on experience. It is open to any high school team in the area regardless of whether they have varsity, school club, or no official status at their school. This is one of the largest high school leagues in the country.

Spring Youth Single Gender League

March through May, weekdays

This league has both Girls and Boys (Open) divisions. There are several different divisions based on experience. It is open to any high school team in the area regardless of whether they have varsity, school club, or no official status at their school.

Elementary School Spring League

March through May, Saturdays

This coed league is open to any elementary school (grades 3-5) in the area. This is the second year of the league.

Vern’s League

April through June, Friday evenings

Verns League is a teaching league for beginners and intermediate-level players. Experienced players captain teams and pass on their knowledge and love of the game. It's a great way to learn ultimate, improve your skills, and meet new people. The season begins after we spring ahead to daylight savings time (Vernal Equinox) and runs for 12 weeks including playoffs. Each team has a similar balance of experienced players and beginners.

Kitsap Hat

May through July, Wednesdays through Thursdays

Back again in 2008 it's league ultimate in Kitsap County. This coed hat league will play on weeknights at the West Sound Academy in Poulsbo.

League start date has been pushed back another few weeks, to Weds 5/21, in order to allow for more sign-ups.  College kids returning for summer break are especially welcome, as league will now run until mid-July!

Until the league starts, try pick-up at Strawberry Fields in Poulsbo, from 6 to 8pm.  Come run around and get your throws ready!

Summer Team League

June through August, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Summer team league is for new or established teams and has something for every skill level. The league has four divisions, and teams are placed in each division based on their experience to ensure close competition.

Summer Corporate Team League

June through August, Wednesdays

The corporate league is for teams comprised of employees from a company who want to play other companies. Some companies sponsor their teams' league fees. The league has a wide range of skill levels but is primarily for beginners who want to have fun with their work colleagues.

Summer Hat League

June through August, Fridays

Participants in the summer hat league represent a wide range of skills and age groups. Many players who start in Verns league or the High School leagues continue to hone their skills in the summer hat league. The league is geared towards beginner and intermediate-level players, and is a great way to meet new people.

Summer Men’s Hat League

July through August, Mondays

The men's league is a hat league that was started in 2003 to provide more opportunities for men's ultimate in the Seattle area. Historically, there are more men interested in playing summer hat league than spots available. The men's hat league is a way to provide another option for summer ultimate. This year the league will be geared towards intermediate and advanced players and college players home for the summer. There will be a draft to assign players to teams.

Summer Master’s Hat League

July through August, Mondays

The Master's Hat League was started in 2005 with 4 teams of men over 30. The league has a wide range of skill levels and is geared towards teaching old dogs new tricks.

High School Fall Hat League

September through November, Fridays

This hat league is a chance for a variety of levels of high school ultimate players to be randomly assigned to teams. The emphasis is on fun and learning or teaching ultimate.

Fall Team League

September through November, Saturdays

The Fall Team League is for new or established teams. Teams are divided into three or four divisions based on ability so that opponents exhibit a similar level of play.

Fall Draft/Hat League

September through November, Sundays

The Fall Draft/Hat League is a variation on the traditional hat league that allows for half of each team to be drafted. It's a fun league for players of all skill levels, and is a great way to meet new people.

Tacoma Hat League

September through November, weeknights

The Tacoma Fall League is a coed hat league played on weeknights under the lights, with one day of playoffs at the end of the season. Games are at Sprinker Recreation Center in Spanaway, about 10 minutes south of Tacoma.

September through November, Saturdays

This coed league is sponsored by, officially sanctioned by, and limited to the Seattle Public Middle Schools. This league is probably the most diverse league in the country.
