2005 Seattle Youth Ultimate Camps Wrap-up

The 2005 Seattle Youth Ultimate Camps were a rousing success. The eight sessions included an elite high school session, three high school sessions, three middle school sessions, and a combination HS/MS individual skills camp. The skill and experience level of campers ranged from fifth grade beginners to a couple members of the victorious girls' and boys' youth club championship teams from Seattle.
HS & MS camp instruction included:
- Basics of pivoting, marking, throwing, and catching.
- Basics of individual offense and defense.
- Basic team offensive and team defensive sets including zones.
- Beginning layout instruction.
- Pulling and hucking instruction.
- Scrimmaging.
Elite camp instruction included:
- Advanced concepts of pivoting, marking, throwing, and catching.
- Advanced concepts of individual offense and defense.
- Advanced concepts of team offensive and team defensive sets including zones.
- Layout instruction with on field video analysis.
- Pulling and hucking instruction with on field video analysis.
- Challenge game against members of Seattle Drizzle and Seattle Hyak.
