Description:

A festive weekend of ultimate frisbee and individual disc competitions.

New this year, the SUBWAY® Washington Games disc event will feature divisions for middle school boys and girls, high school boys and girls, and adult men and women!

Registration

Online registration is now open.

Players register and pay individually for the Washington Games.  The player fee is $28.47 per player (includes sales tax).  Payment may be made online or via check made payable to DiscNW, Attn: Washington Games, PO Box 85112, Seattle, WA 98145 (please incldue the player name on the memo line).


Format

There will be a one day tournament for men on Saturday, July 28.  A one day women's tournament will take place on Sunday, July 29.  There is no coed division.

All games will take place on the grass Sports Meadow at Magnuson Park in Seattle, WA.

The final schedule is now posted.   Players should expect to play 3 games during the day.  Round times are...

  1. 10am - 11:30am
  2. 11:45am - 1:15pm
  3. 1:30pm - 3pm

There will also be a disc skills competition with accuracy and distance events.  The throwing competitions will take place at the conclusion of the ultimate games starting at 3:15pm.

T-shirts and snacks will be provided to participants.

 

Team Formation

Players may sign up in one of two ways:

  • As an individual.  Individuals are assigned to a team.
  • As a pod/team.*  Pods/teams may be 2-20 players in size.  Every individual will need to register.  You will need a pod/team name when you register.  The Tournament Director will combine pods or add individual players to pods/teams as needed.  

 

Prizes

The winning team will get official Washington Games gold medals!  Winners of the skills competitions will also receive medals.

 

Rules

The 11th Edition of the Rules of Ultimate will be used for the Washington Games.

This is an 18+ event in accordance with the DiscNW Hat Event Policy.

All games are to 15; hard point cap at 17.  The time cap is on at 80 minutes after the round starts: finish the current point, the game is over if one team is ahead, teams play one more point if tied.
