To play in Summer Mixed Hat League you must be 18 years of age or older.
Participants in the summer hat league represent a wide range of skills and age groups. Many players who start in Verns league or the High School leagues continue to hone their skills in the summer hat league. The league is geared towards beginner and intermediate-level players, and is a great way to meet new people.
As in past years, there will be a lottery for men.
Games will be on Friday evenings, mostly starting around 7:45pm, though some games may be earlier. All games will be on the synthetic turf fields at Magnuson Park.
The cost this year is $82.75.

Update 6/5/18
Teams have been assigned! You should receive an email from your Captains in the next few days. First games for everyone are this Friday at Magnuson Turf fields.
The theme for team names for 2018 is "Holidays That SHOULD Exist."

Update 5/25/18
There are waiting lists for both men and women. Women who register now will still likely be placed on a team. Men who register now are unlikely to be accepted, though some men who are currently on the waiting list will be accepted in the next week or two. If you have been accepted and have not paid by the payment deadline tonight, you may be bumped to make room for someone else on the waiting list.

The lottery has been run and the payment deadline is 5/25/18. If you were one of the lucky guys to pass the lottery, please pay ASAP. If you are not marked as paid by the deadline, you will be bumped to make room for another guy on the waiting list.

Information
Basics:
- All games will be played on Friday evenings at Magnuson Park in Seattle
- In most cases games will be scheduled from 7:45 - 9:45 pm
- The season starts on June 1st and finishes on August 10th
- This is a mixed gender league
Fields:
Games will be played on the turf fields (Fields 5-7) at Magnuson Park in Seattle. Our Summer fields permit for Seattle will be posted posted on the Field Permits page.
Registration:
The registration fee is $82.75. Payment can be made online or by mailing a check to DiscNW, Attn: Summer Mixed Hat, PO Box 85112, Seattle, WA 98145. Online registration opens in April.
Coordinators:
Your 2018 Summer Hat League coordinators are Steven Kwan and David (Legs) Langhals.
Rules
The DiscNW Hat Event Policy applies to this league.
The 11th Edition of the Rules of Ultimate will again be used for the Summer Hat League.
