UPA series dates -
Mixed WABC
Sectionals: Sept 20-21, 2007, Burlington, WA
Regionals: October 11-12, 2007, Corvallis, OR
Nationals: October 30-Nov 2, Sarasota, FL
Registration is open for the UPA club mixed series. WABC sectionals will be held Sept 20-21 in Burlington, WA at the Skagit River Soccer Complex (site of college nationals in 2004). NW regionals will be October 11-12 in Corvallis, OR at the Crystal Lake Sports Complex (site of college nationals in 2005). The national tournament will be Oct 30- Nov 2 in Sarasota, FL.
This year 5-Ultimate has offered to support the tournament and encourage spirited play with prizes. I’d like to thank them for their support.
Please note that there are three registration steps:
1 – Register your team with the UPA (allows competition in the series). http://upa.org/club/rostering_101
2 – Register and pay the $250 fee for your team with DiscNW for the sectional tournament.
3 – Indiviudals must pay UPA dues and turn in waivers. http://www.upa.org/useractivities

DETAILS
TEAM REGISTRATION DEADLINE (through the UPA system): August 29th by 4pm. http://upa.org/club/rostering_101
Rosters must be finalized on the UPA online roster system by Tuesday, September 16th at 4pm. A total of 7 players may be added between August 29th and September 16th. There is no additional fee to add players during this window.
All players participating in the series need to print out a waiver http://www.upa.org/files/2008Waiver.pdf and send it in to the UPA. Players must also pay their UPA dues online http://www.upa.org/useractivities. Individuals must complete their waivers and dues payment by September 16th or they will not be allowed to participate.
Any minors (under 18) participating also need to have their parents fill out a medical waiver form. Chaperones must fill out the chaperone form. These can be found here: http://upa.org/membership/forms.
If you have players that do not reside in the WABC section, then please read the rules about eligibility of players from other sections. In general, players who play in the mixed series cannot play in other divisions in the series (there is an exception for masters players - please read the UPA guidelines for additional detail).
ACCOMODATIONS
Camping at the fields will most likely not be allowed.

The Coucusa Inn is very close to the fields and usually have reasonable rates. 360-757-6044

If you have questions or suggestions about the schedule and seeding, please let me know. The UPA has a mandated format, so it is difficult to make changes, but if you have an issue we will see what we can do.
