Hopefully this document will answer any questions you have about the DiscNW membership system. If you have a question not answered below, feel free to us.
DiscNW has added a membership feature as part of the website redesign. Membership has two purposes: to help players better manage their Ultimate life and to help DiscNW better know the Ultimate community. We think you’ll find this feature useful. Below is a brief Q&A to help answer questions you may have about membership.

Why should I register?
Membership has two purposes today: to help players keep their Ultimate life organized and to help us get to know the community.
Once you register, you’ll have personalized schedules for all of your teams in any DiscNW league. Plus, registering for leagues will be easy since all of you personal information is already stored in your player profile.
We’re also working on our mailing lists and expect to have them up and running soon.
DiscNW will also be asking for optional demographic information. You can find out so much about DiscNW by reading our website, but what does DiscNW know about you? By providing optional demographic information, DiscNW learns who our community is and we will be better able to serve you. This information also helps us when talking to sponsors, city and county council members, and the press.

So, why do you need my email address?
We’re working to improve our communications to the Ultimate community. Work is being done to develop better mailing lists. These will be available soon. Oh, and just in case you missed the previous question: We’re not selling/giving/providing our email list to anyone.
